Wesley Pines Honors Veterans

Happy Veteran’s Day from Wesley Pines! As we have in past years, this past November we were proud to honor our community’s inspiring service members from across many of the country’s institutions and divisions. 

The commemoration was widely attended and included our keynote speaker, Rev. Gary Deese, who served in the U.S. Army in both Vietnam and the Gulf War. We were fortunate to have Rev. Deese serve as our community Chaplain for many years, and honored to have him speak to our seniors and their loved ones. 

The day also included a flag presentation by the Lumbee Warriors, a performance by the Berea Baptist Church Choir, and moving words from residents.
