FT and PRN CNAs, LPNs and RNs needed for all shifts. Long-term care experience is a plus but not required. Successful applicants must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Wesley Pines is an EEOE.

Full Time RN/LPN MDS Nurse

Full time RN/LPN MDS Nurse needed. This position is currently available and carries all full time benefits. MINIMUM TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE required in MDS to be considered for this position. Applicants must be hospitality oriented and be able to work well with other employees.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Coordinates, conducts, and completes the MDS resident care plans and conferences on the computerized system.
2. Ensures accuracy and completeness of entire medical record.
3. Ensures and monitors that MDSs are completed by appropriate staff members and that it is within HCFA and Medicare guidelines.
4. Ensures MDS electronic submissions occur per State regulations.
5. Participates in family/resident care plan conferences when needed.
6. Ensures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation.
7. Participates in IDT to help ensure collaboration of care.
8. Conducts daily SHP audits for accuracy/review/corrections of the MDS.
9. Participates in monthly/quarterly QAPI by tracking high QM triggers.
10. Reviews facility quality indicators/5-star rating report via CMS monthly and sends it to the administrator.
11. Participates in annual and quarterly validation and compliance audits for review of MDS accuracy.
12. Provides re-education to staff regarding documentation accuracy/inconsistencies.
13. Schedules MDS assessment calendar monthly with daily changes/updates as needed.

Volunteering and Internships

We are continually looking for compassionate individuals to help make Wesley Pines a wonderful place to live for our residents. If you have a passion for helping others, consider serving our community as a volunteer or intern. Many of our volunteers and interns go on to careers within the health care and administrative fields after a fulfilling and educational season at our community. Volunteer Opportunities

All volunteers must be at least 15 years or older.

Activities Assistant

Helps organize on-campus activities such as art and computer classes, Bible studies, musical entertainment, and decorating. Assists in coordinating student and pet visitors and visitor activities.

Administrative Assistant

Could include copying, filing, scanning, mailing, and receptionist opportunities.

Community Upkeep

Be outdoors helping with cleanup projects, gardening, and general as-needed maintenance.

Fundraiser & Special Events

Assistant — Help our local committee with fundraising projects and special events.

Internship Opportunities
