Veterans Day Celebration

Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday, November 11th at 3:15 p.m. as we honor our veterans who have graciously served our country.  We will show our gratitude through a celebration that will include a flag display, patriotic songs performed by Berea Baptist Church Choir, along with a paratrooper from the renowned All Veteran Group who will drop onto the grounds of Wesley Pines trailed by the American flag. Our keynote speaker will be Capt. John "Woody" Woodall of Camp4Heroes. 

Purses for a Purpose

The Robeson County Walk to End Alzheimer's is having their annual Purse Sale and Auction on Friday, November 16th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wesley Pines in the Ruby McMillan Fellowship Center.  Purse will be for sale along with select designer purses that will be auctioned silently.  All proceeds will benefit the Eastern NC Alzheimer's Association.

Can-The-Scams Presentation

This presentation is brought to us on behalf of Secretary of State Elaine Marshall by Ann Elmore of the Investor Protection Division on Monday, November 26th at 2 p.m. in the Ruby McMillan Fellowship Center.  In an effort to avoid scams and protect your assets, the North Carolina Secretary of State's Office offers "Put a Lid on Charity Scams and Investing Scams." Guard yourself from new scams that are circulating in our state. Be informed!  This event is free and open to the public.
